KATIP Turkish Language Program 2025

The KATIP Turkish Language Program 2025 is an 8-month, fully funded initiative hosted in Ankara, Turkey, by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). Having engaged 212 participants from 85 countries, this program offers a deep dive into Turkish language and culture, complemented by seminars on Turkey’s history, politics, and society, as well as visits to prominent Turkish institutions.

• Nationality: Must not hold Turkish citizenship or reside in Turkey.
• Public Officials: At least 3 years of experience in a relevant institution; preference for those with a Master’s or Ph.D.
• Researchers: Employed at a university or research center, with a completed or ongoing doctoral degree, preferably researching Turkey-related topics.
• Language: Proficient in English (speaking and listening).
• Age: Under 40 years old as of January 1, 2025.
