The Greatest Volunteer Program is officially open. Applications are now open for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Volunteer Program, one of the biggest and most prestigious volunteer programs in FIFA history. The FIFA 2026 World Cup is accepting applications for 65,000 volunteers from around the world. Volunteers must be available from June 11, 2026, to July 19, 2026, and must be at least 18 years old at the time of application. The tournament will take place across 16 host cities in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. There is no application fee, and volunteers from all backgrounds are welcome. Your passion and energy are the most important qualities you bring!

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be hosted across 16 cities in three countries. On the application form, you will need to select one preferred host city, and this selection cannot be changed once submitted.

United States (11 Cities)

  • Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz Stadium / Atlanta Stadium)
  • Boston (Gillette Stadium / Boston Stadium)
  • Dallas (AT&T Stadium / Dallas Stadium)
  • Houston (NRG Stadium / Houston Stadium)
  • Kansas City (GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium / Kansas City Stadium)
  • Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium / Los Angeles Stadium)
  • Miami (Hard Rock Stadium / Miami Stadium)
  • New York / New Jersey (MetLife Stadium / New York New Jersey Stadium) – The final will be played here

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to applicants from around the world
  • Commitment: Minimum of eight shifts between June 11, 2026, and July 19, 2026
  • Age: 18 years or older at the time of application
  • Must comply with the entry requirements of the host country
  • Language: Must speak English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Attend Volunteer Team Tryouts and complete mandatory training
  • Agree to and pass a background review (process varies for Mexico)

Timeline

  • Applications: August – September 2025
  • Volunteer Team Tryouts: October 2025 – January 2026
  • Role Offers: December 2025 – March 2026
  • Gear Up & Get Ready: March – June 2026
  • Tournament Time: June – July 2026
