Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of an eligible country
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Provide proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test)
  • Exemption from English tests if you earned a degree in an English-speaking country within the last five years
  • Apply to the University of Hawaii for the Fall 2026 semester by December 1, 2025
